Mrs. Linda Sue Bowling, 73, of Ellijay, died Friday, Feb. 5, 2021, at Parkside Nursing Home. She was born in Anderson, S.C., June 10, 1947, to the late Walter Lee Greene and Thelma Cromer Greene. She was a high school graduate, a homemaker and a member of East Ellijay Baptist Church.
She is preceded in death by brothers, Walter Lee Greene Jr., and Johnny Greene; and sister, Helen Greene.
She is survived by husband, Dr. Fredrick D. Bowling, of Ellijay; daughters, Jelene Jenkins and Tennille Madrid; brothers, Mike Greene and Albert Greene; sister, Dorothy Greene Turner; and six grandchildren.
To honor her wishes, she was cremated and no services are planned at this time.
