Mrs. Katsuko Wishon, 86, of Ellijay, died Saturday, Oct. 30, 2021.
She was born Sept. 21, 1935, in Tokyo, Japan. She was a high school graduate and was a member of a professional ski team. She was also a member of the Gospel Temple Baptist Church.
She is survived by partner, Roy Crump, of Ellijay; sons, James Wishon and William Wishon, both of Ellijay; special friend, Rae Anne Hadden; sister, Mitchiko Matoi, of Japan; Matoi family in Japan; and grandchild, Macy Watkins, of Cherry Log.
Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 2, 2021, from the chapel of Bernhardt Funeral Home with the Rev. Russell Hood and the Rev. Willie Young officiating.
Interment was in the Old Cherry Log Cemetery.
Bernhardt Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
