Mrs. Jossie Lee Fowler Farist, 80, of Ellijay, died Sunday March 7, 2021.
She was born May 13, 1940, in Cherokee, to the late Lewis and Dessie Lee Washington Fowler.
She was employed by Superb Carpet as a carpet machine operator and was a member of Riverhill Baptist Church.
She is survived by husband, Leeman Farist; sons, Charles Farist, Wayne Farist, Donnie Farist, Mitchell Farist, all of Ellijay; sister, Lillie Marjorie Baker, of East Ellijay; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held at 3 p.m. Tuesday, March 9, 2021, from the chapel of Bernhardt Funeral Home with Dr. Jeff Walls officiating.
Interment was in the Yukon Cemetery.
Pallbearers were Travis Farist, Evan Weaver, Zachary Farist, Ray Beavers, Mitch Farist, Wayne Farist, Charles Farist and Donnie Farist.
