Mrs. Johnnie Nell Marie Grant, 79, of Ellijay, died Friday, Jan. 28, 2022, at her residence.
She was born in Buford, Aug. 14, 1942, to the late F.L> Thomas and Flora Lee Ramey Thomas. She was of the Baptist faith.
She is survived by husband, Wimp Grant; daughter, Rhonda Brooks (Sid); brother, Jay Thomas; grandchildren, Brett Brooks and Caitlin Pettit.
Funeral services were held at 1 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 1, 2022, in the chapel of Bernhardt Funeral Home with the Rev. Billy Nealey and the Rev. Larry Stover officiating.
Interment was in the Yukon Cemetery.
Pallbearers were Lee Parks, Bobby Pettit, Fulton Pettit, Garrett Pettit, Billy Grant and Toby Yarborough.
Honorary pallbearers were Wayne Holt, Joseph McCollum and Michael Stover.
