Mrs. Evadna “Sue” Claudette (Stafford) Stokes, 83 of Ellijay, died Thursday, Sept. 16, 2021.
She was born Jan. 21, 1938, in Sylvania, to the late Carson and Claudine Stafford and was a member of First Methodist Church of Ellijay.
Sue is preceded in death by husband, William “Bill” Stokes.
She is survived by son, William Murray Stokes Jr., of St Marks, Fla.; daughters and sons-in-law, Jan and Rickey Brantley, of Midway, Lisa and Joey Roland, of Jasper; grandchildren, Jeremy Stokes, Deanne and Josh Walker, Victoria and Matt Green, Shelby Stokes; and great-grandchildren, Winfield Green and Blayke Adcock.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 29, 2021, at the Logan Funeral Home Pavilion with the Rev. John Brantley officiating.
