Mrs. Ethel Cowart Johns, 81, of Ellijay, died Friday, July 9, 2021, at her residence.
She loved reading her Bible, working with her plants and flowers and most of all taking care of her family, especially her grandchildren.
She is survived by son, Tommy Johns (Nancy); stepchildren, Vicky Davenport, Steve Cowart, Katie Bryant, Keith Cowart and Faye Carney; eight grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; several cousins, other special relatives and many friends.
Graveside services are scheduled for 1 p.m. Wednesday, July 14, 2021, at Kennesaw Memorial Park with Pastor Ken May officiating.
Sosebee Funeral Home, Canton, is in charge of arrangements.
