Mrs. Edna Lynne Long Rich

Mrs. Edna Lynne (Long) Rich, 62, of Ellijay, died Monday, Sept. 20, 2021. She was born to J.L. and Katherine Betty (Densmore) Long in Dalton.

She graduated from North West Whitfield High School in 1976.

She is preceded in death by daughter, Heather Renee Rich, father J.L. Long; and sister, Virginia Long.

She is survived by husband of 47 years, Michael A. Rich, of Ellijay; daughter, Amy Leigh and Tony Sassman, of Jasper; grandchildren, Titus Matteson, Josiah Sassman, Emma Sassman; mother, Katherine Long, of Dalton; brother, David Long, of Dalton; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral service were held at 2 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 26, 2021, at the Logan Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Kasey Kuyper officiating.

Interment was in the Rich Family Cemetery in Blairsville.
