Mrs. Dora M. Drummond, 78, of Johns Creek, formerly of Ellijay, died Sunday, Sept. 5, 2021.
She was born in Atlanta Aug. 22, 1943, to the late Harold G. Matthews and Beatrice King Matthews.
She is preceded in death by husband, James H. Drummond Jr.; daughters, Sharon Deavers and Dianne Drummond; son, Edward Drummond; sisters, Sue Daniels, Rita Kimbrell, Sandra Jackson, Ophelia Chester and Glenda Smith; and brothers, Glenn Matthews and David Matthews.
She is survived by son, Scott Drummond (Kolleen Watts); grandchildren, D.J. Hamilton (Hailey), Donna Hamilton, Cameron Drummond, Allyssa Drummond; great-grandchildren, Abby Hamilton and Don Hamilton; brother, Harold Matthews (Debra); brothers-in-law, Phil Drummond Sr. (Deborah), Frank Drummond; sister-in-law, Carolyn Clary.
Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 9, 2021, from the chapel of Bernhardt Funeral Home with the Rev. Billy Dotson officiating.
Interment was in Gresham Cemetery in Cobb County.
Pallbearers were Scott Drummond, Cameron Drummond, Mitchell Hughes, Jack Savage, Bobby Chester and Phil Drummond Jr.
Bernhardt Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
