Mrs. Charme Maxine Weaver Reece, 81, of Ellijay, died Saturday, July 10, 2021.
She was born Oct. 2, 1939, in Gilmer County, to the late Thomas “Boone” and Leila Jane Burnette Weaver. She was a homemaker, loved her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren and attended many of their ball games throughout the years. She was of the Baptist faith.
She is preceded in death by husband, Truman Reece; and brother, Charles Weaver.
She is survived by daughter, Tammy McClure, of Ellijay; sons and daughters-in-law, Tim and Donna Reece, Bruce and Haley Reece, all of Ellijay; seven grandchildren, Gena and Jason Farmer, Ashlyn (Adam) Stanley, Brett McClure, Whitley (Ryan) Cheek, Tyra McClure, Lark and Blake Reece; three great-grandchildren, Cooper Farmer, Weston Farmer, and Kensie Farmer and baby girl Cheek on the way.
A private graveside service was held at the Tickanetley Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery with Billy Bernhardt officiating.
Pallbearers were Bruce Reece, Jason Farmer, Brett McClure, Blake Reece, Cooper Farmer and Weston Farmer.
Donations can be made to the Compassus Hospice in memory of Mrs Reece.
Bernhardt Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
