Mrs. Brenda Dean Newton, 75, of Ellijay, died Monday, July 19, 2021, at Northside Cherokee in Canton due to complications from COVID-19.
She was born April 28, 1946, in Danville, Va., to the late Rev. Henry Jay Moose and Anna Margaret Moose.
She was a wonderful ray of sunshine to everyone she met. There’s not a soul who has met her that wouldn’t tell you what an amazing person she was. She loved with all her heart and adored her family and her only grandson.
She is survived by husband of 53 years, Dwight Newton; son, Tim Newton; and daughter-in-law, Melissa Newton; daughters, Krystin Newton, and Alexis Newton and son, Jackson Newton, Brenda’s pride and joy and only grandson.
