Miss Kiara Nicole Moreno

Miss Kiara Nicole Moreno, 21, of Ellijay, died Tuesday, Dec. 8, 2020.

She was born May 25, 1999, in Whitfield County. She was a graduate of Gilmer High School and attended college. At the time of her death, she was assistant manager at Hibbett Sports.

She is survived by mother, Lisa Moreno; sister; Amanda Moreno; and grandmother, Charlene Mulkey, all of Ellijay; and several aunts and uncles.

A private funeral service was held in the chapel of Bernhardt Funeral Home with the Rev. Billy Cantrell officiating. 

Music was by Regina Mathis. 

Pallbearers were Larry Weaver, Mickey Weaver, Johnny Henson, Charles Stepp, Julio Salgado and Berto Murillo.  

Interment was in the Scrougetown Church Cemetery.
