Mary June Mullinax Davis

Mrs. Mary June Mullinax Davis, 88, of Ellijay, died Monday, Sept. 19, 2022, at The Retreat at Jasper.

She was born Jan. 15, 1934, to the late Delmer Mullinax and Helen Oliver Mullinax. She was a graduate of Ellijay High School, class of 1950.

She was a paraprofessional for the Gilmer County School System and a member of the First Baptist Church of Ellijay.

She is preceded in death by husband, Garvin Davis; brothers, Jimmy Mullinax and David Mullinax; and son, Monty Davis.

She is survived by daughters and sons-in-law, Patti (Jerry) Vick, of Ellijay and Daphne (Roy) Duvall; sister, Wanda Pankey, of Ellijay; grandchildren, Tim Duvall, Brooke Berry, Kat Chinault, Zeb Duvall, Crystal Norton, and Cassie Toepher; 10 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.

Funeral services were held at 11 a.m. Friday, Sept. 23, 2022, from the First Baptist Church of Ellijay, with Minister Mike Hayden officiating.

Interment was in Yukon Cemetery, conducted by Chris Berry.

Pallbearers were Tim Duvall, Zeb Duvall, Ian Berry, Kyler Norton, Jody Mullinax and Jamie Mullinax.
