Marvin ‘Skip’ Harris Thomason Jr.

Mr. Marvin “Skip” Harris Thomason Jr., 77, of Ellijay, died Tuesday, March 8, 2022.

He was born in Detroit, Mich., Aug. 30, 1944, to the late Marvin Harris Thomason Sr. and Ruby Capehart Thomason.

He was of the Baptist faith and proudly served in the United States Army.

He is survived by wife, Robin Thomason; sons, Troy (Samantha) Thomason and Bobby Thomason; stepdaughters, Carrie (Chris) Couch and Christy Corum; 13 grandchildren, Ashley Thomason, Courtney Thomason, Troy Thomason Jr., Natasha Thomason, Vanesa Thomason, Bobby Thomason Jr., Hailey Thomason, Connor Thomason, Kayden Couch, Jonah Couch, Mollie Corum, Phillip Corum and Jacob Corum; great-grandchildren, Oliver and D.J; special friends, Nicole Lang, Jenny Parker and Dawn Thomason.

He will be cremated and no services are planned at this time.

Bernhardt Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
