Mr. Marvin J. Wofford, 74, of Ellijay, died Friday, July 17, 2020.

He was born Nov. 8, 1945, in Pickens County, to the late Grady and Velma Cantrell Wofford. He was a small engine mechanic and member of New Vision Pentecostal Church. 

He is preceded in death by sister, Christine Brooks.

He is survived by wife, the Rev. Irene Wofford; children and spouses, Bobby and Melissa Sutton, Lee and Angela Sutton, Terry and Lisa Wofford, Shelly Sutton, Kristi and Shawn Titus, all of Ellijay, Lisa Bode, of Gainesville; sister and brother-in-law, Sue and Bob Semig; 18 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Monday, July 20, 2020, from the chapel of Bernhardt Funeral Home with Brother Kenny Williamson officiating. 

Music was by Brother Williamson. 

Pallbearers were Lawson Sutton, Chandler Sutton, Brock Titus, Taylor Guffey, Manoah Davis and Mikey Bramlett. 

Interment was in the Yukon Cemetery.
