Margie Mae Broadrick

Mrs. Margie Mae Broadrick, 78, of Ellijay,  died Friday, June 10, 2022, at Parkside Rehabilitation Center in Ellijay.

She was born Oct. 13, 1943, in Layfette, to the late Albert E. Broadrick and FannyMae Cochran Broadrick. She was a member of the Bellwood Baptist Church in Calhoun.

She is preceded in death by husband, Paul Bolding Jr.; and son, Charles Maynard Bynum.

She is survived by sons, Christopher Ray Bynum and Steven Dewayne Bynum, both of Ellijay; daughters, Lisa Rena Bynum, of Rome and Gloria Michelle Bynum, of Jasper; eight grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; special niece and husband, Malisa and Richard Harris, of Eton.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, June 15, 2022, from the chapel of Bernhardt Funeral Home with the Rev. Tony Blankenship officiating.

Interment will follow at the Yukon Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Jackie Goble, Jackie Collins, Jimmy Sanford, Parker Brewer, Tylor Brewer, Tim Tuck, Josh Reynolds and David Couch.

Flowers are accepted; however, the family respectfully asks that no food be brought to the funeral home.

Bernhardt Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
