Linda Gail Ellis Wildes

Mrs. Linda Gail Ellis Wildes,  81, passed into the arms of Jesus peacefully in her sleep, Saturday, Aug. 27, 2022.

She was born in Albany, to the late Marvin Elijah Ellis and Lollie Mae Harden Ellis. She was married to James E. Wildes for 60 years before God call him home first in 2020.

She had two daughters, Ivy Ann Wildes Adamavage and Robin Janelle Wildes Sarkesian, whom she loved with her whole heart. She leaves behind her beloved grandchildren, Lindy Ann (John) Trimble, Elijah Adam Sarkesian, Victoria Hope Sarkesian and Lori Beth (Luke) Thomas. She also will watch over from afar her great-grandchildren Ivy, Elly, Brentley and Cason.

She was a faithful member of Mountaintown Baptist Church. She loved her ladies Sunday school class and the friends that she held dear to her heart.

She is preceded in death by husband, James; sister and brother-in-law, Betty Jo and Curtis Adams; niece, Kay Adams Boyd.

Graveside services were held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Aug. 30, 2022, at Mountaintown Baptist Church Cemetery with Pastor Sam Snider officiating.

Music was by Pastor Dan Rosser of Pleasant Grove Baptist Church.

Honorary pallbearers were Scott Adamavage, Elijah Sarkesian, Tori Sarkesian, Luke Thomas, Ivy Trimble, Elly Trimble and Brently Walden.

Her family would like to thank Regency Hospice for their sweet care in the last few days of her life.
