Mr. Larry Fraliex, 71, of Ellijay, died Monday, Oct. 31, 2022. He was born in Caldwell, Ky., to the late Raymond Fredrick and Wiline Meeks Fraliex.

He served his country honorably in the United States Army. He was in the Black Horse regiment and received a Purple Heart after being wounded while serving in the Vietnam War. Larry was a member of the Cartecay United Methodist Church and enjoyed being a master woodworker.

He is preceded in death by brothers, Wayne Fraliex, Leon Fraliex and Robert Fraliex; son, Robin Fraliex; and sisters, Peggy Hirst and Nancy Smith.

He is survived by wife of 38 years, Diane Pyle Fraliex, of Ellijay; daughters, Michele D. Kaminski, of Georgetown, Ky., Stephanie and Mitchell Moore, of Bradenton, Fla., Amy and Ben Crace, of Nashville, Tenn., Tera Brown, of Eddyville, Ky.; sons, Tom Carson, of Bradenton, Fla., David and Karin Kaminski, of Kentucky; grandchildren, Shawn Bozarth, Ashley Bozarth, Haley Moore, Justice Brown, Michael Brown, Monica Brown, Issac Crace, Isaiah Crace, Lilly Crace, Cole Kaminski, Josie Kaminski; great-grandchild, Dexton Fair; sisters, Shirley and Eddy Landreth, of Fredonia, Ky., Cindy and Joe Kemp, of Fredonia, Ky.

Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 5, 2022, at the Logan Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Heather Nycewonder officiating.

Military rites were performed by the North Georgia Honor Guard in the Logan Funeral Home Pavilion.
