Mr. Kenneth Lesley Parks, 62, of Ellijay, died Tuesday, Feb. 23, 2021, at his residence.
He was born in Gilmer County Sept. 16, 1958, to the late Burley Parks and Joan Thomas Parks.
He loved NASCAR, and he enjoyed working on cars, as well as buying and trading cars. He loved his daughters and was a member of Salem Baptist Church. He was employed by Pickens County Concrete.
He is preceded in death by brother, Tommy Parks.
He is survived by daughters, Shelley Parks, of Atlanta, Shandelle Parks, of Ellijay, Miranda Parks, of Atlanta, and Gabrielle Parks, of Norcross; sisters, Debbie Plunkett and Athena Bruner, both of Ellijay.
A memorial service was held at 2 p.m. Monday, March 1, 2021, from the chapel of Bernhardt Funeral Home with the Rev. Sid Webb officiating.
