Mrs. Julianna “Michelle” Lovett Slaven, 47, of Ellijay, died Saturday, Sept. 24, 2022.

She was born Sept. 29, 1974, in Charleston, S.C., to the late Thomas L. and Julia Lovett.

She was of the Methodist faith and was employed with Georgia Mountain Health in Blue Ridge. She loved arts and crafts and especially cake decorating.

She is survived by husband of 24 years, William H. Slaven; daughter, Catherine Onyx Nicole Lovett, of Canton; son, William Anthony Slaven; grandchildren, Jai Yah Davison, Asher Davison, Ryker Johnson; mother, Julia Hannah Schlicht, of Cartersville; stepfather, James Schlicht; and stepfather, Frank Hood; father, Thomas L. Lovett, of Spring Grove, Pa.; sisters, Danielle Taylor, of Smyrna, Brittney Lovett, of Virginia; brothers, Tylar Lovett, of North Carolina, Kyle Lovett, of Virginia, Josh Hood, of Johns Creek; and several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends Wednesday, Sept. 28, 2022, from 4-8 p.m.

Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 29, 2022, at the Logan Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Gerald Faulkner, and the Rev. James Schlicht officiating.

Flowers are accepted or donations can be made to Children’s Health Care of Atlanta in memory of Mrs. Slaven.
