Mr. Joseph Anthony Bright, 60, of Smyrna, died Saturday, Aug. 7, 2021.
He was born in Atlanta, May 9, 1961, to the late Walter Shaffer Bright and Marjorie Eller Bright.
Prior to retirement, he was employed by Blue Cross Blue Shield.
He is survived by sister, Sandra Lupo and husband, Stacey of Dallas; nieces, Katelin Taylor Lupo, Madison Brooke Lupo, Emily Rae Lupo, and Carson Grey Strickland; and nephew, Arthur Cade Strickland.
Graveside services were held at 12:30 p.m. Friday, Aug. 13, 2021, at Flat Creek Baptist Church Cemetery with Cade Strickland officiating.
Bernhardt Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
