Johnny Lee Dupree

Mr. Johnny Lee Dupree, 61, of Chatsworth, died Saturday, Dec. 25, 2021, at his residence.

He was born May 18, 1960, in Chatsworth, to the late Major Dupree and Lelia Hicks Dupree.

He was a retired logger and was a member of Pleasant Hill Baptist Church.

He is preceded in death by daughter, Tamra Price; and brother, Charles Dupree.

He is survived by wife, Kay Dupree; son, Jerry Gray (Amanda); daughter, Jada Burke (Charles); brother, David Dupree (Earlene); sisters, Teresa Posey and Hilda Shoemaker; grandchildren, Carolyn Gray, Landon Gray, Anthony Dean, Jonathan Dean, Joey Hernandez and Emily Hernandez; and several nieces and nephews.

Graveside services were held at noon Tuesday, Dec. 28, 2021, at Pleasant Hill Baptist Church Cemetery.

Bernhardt Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
