Mr. John Robert Steinberger (Steiny), 76, died peacefully Wednesday, Aug. 11, 2021.
He was a one-of-a-kind legend and loved to love on people. He never met a stranger and could always make people laugh. His positivity and encouragement lifted spirits everywhere. He was our shining light and beacon of hope.
He was a master salesman and superstar, while still remaining humble and genuine. His kind heart and quick wit touched anyone he encountered. A father to son, John and daughter, Laura, he was also a father figure to numerous others. Because of his infectious personality, he will be missed by many and especially those in Ellijay. People pass through our lives, some of them fade to memories but a few become part of who we are — John was one of the few!
He is survived by son, John (Amanda); daughter, Laura; grandchildren Ashley (Byron), Brittany and Carson, grandbabies, Mason and Conner.
