Jerry ‘Archie’ Reynolds Wilson

Mr. Jerry “Archie” Reynolds Wilson, 73, of Blue Ridge, died Tuesday, Aug. 30, 2022.

He was born Nov. 23, 1948, in Ellijay, to the late William Harvey and Rebecca Angeline (Dale) Wilson.

He was a member of Bethel United Methodist Church in Morganton. He loved being in the outdoors.

He is preceded in death by son, James Andrew Wilson.

He is survived by wife of 31 years, Mary Wright Wilson; children, Mitchell (Pamela) Wilson, Scarlet (Jason) Revie, Trinity Lovvorn; grandchildren, Michael Wilson, Zoie Wilson, Caitlin Wilson, Cole Wilson, Chase Lovvorn, Carson Revie; three great-grandchildren; sisters Cora Strickland, of Ellijay, and Shirley Johnson, of Chatsworth.

Funeral services were held Saturday, Sept. 3, 2022, at Logan Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Tim Taylor officiating.

Music was by Margaret Crawford.

Interment was in the Flat Branch Baptist Church Cemetery with immediate family.

Pallbearers were Chase Lovvorn, Carson Revie, Jason Revie, Michael Wilson, Cole Wilson, Tracy Wilson, Mayford Wilson and Ervin Ensley.

Honorary pallbearers were members of Bethel United Methodist Church.
