Mr. Jeffrey Gene Wimpey, 56, of Hiawassee, died Monday, Sept. 6, 2021.
He was born in Fulton County Feb. 11, 1965, to Gene Wimpey and Edna Sales Wimpey.
He was a member of Zion Hill Baptist Church.
He is survived by son, Seth (Shea) Wimpey; daughters, Brittany (Johnny) Moore and Baylee Wimpey; father and stepmother, Gene and Alene Wimpey; mother, Edna Sanford; brother, Ricky and Meredith Wimpey; special friend, Celeste McGee; grandchildren, Sutton Moore, Peyton Moore, Kota Wimpey, Kaden Wimpey and Kenna Wimpey; two nieces and two nephews.
Graveside services were held at 2 p.m. Friday, Sept. 10, 2021, at Nine Mile Church Cemetery with the Rev. Alan Davenport officiating.
Pallbearers were Lewis Bramlett, Michael Sales, Dexter Woody, Brent Barclay, Luke Wimpey and Connor Wimpey.
