Mr. Jefferson Randall King, 58, of Ellijay, died Friday, July 23, 2021.
He was born Oct. 29, 1962, in Cherokee County to the late JW ‘’Doc’’ King and Lillian King. He was a high school graduate and a carpenter, self-employed for many years. He loved going to church, especially New Friendship Baptist Church in
Waleska.
He is preceded in death by sister, Caroline; and brothers Stanley and Roger.
He is survived by son, Jacob King, of Kennesaw; daughter, Ayla King, of Ellijay; sisters, Annette King, of Canton, Karon Cummings, of Jasper; brothers, Dwight (Doris) King, Dean King, all of Canton, Franklin King, of Jasper, James King, of Canton, Van King, of Talking Rock, Stacey (Sandy) King, of Ranger, Shane (Davina) King, of Ellijay; and a host of nieces and nephews.
Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Monday, July 26, 2021, from the chapel of Bernhardt Funeral Home with the Rev. Franklin King officiating.
Pallbearers were Joseph King, Brad King, Josh King, Michael Leonard, Nathan Clark and Milton Irwin.
Interment was in the Yukon Cemetery. Bernhardt Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
