Jack Edwin Price

Mr. Jack Edwin Price, 81, of Ellijay, died Sunday, June 5, 2022, at his home.

He was born Dec. 7, 1940, in Crawfordsville, Ind., to the late Joseph Price and Sadie Denham Price. He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Ellijay.

He is survived by wife, Mary Price, of Ellijay; daughter, Angela Recker (Chris), of Waterford, Va.; son, Mitchell Price (Angela), of Sasebo, Japan; grandchildren, Wyatt and Sawyer, of Sasebo, Japan; and sister, Patricia New, of Winter Haven, Fla.

The extended family that continues to surround us with love, Juanita (Jim) Woodall of Epworth, Betty (Harold) Woods, J.D. (Janie) Hallum, Jeanette Paynter, Marty Adkison, of Scottsmoor, Fla.; and Grover (Debbie) Hallum, of Orange, Va.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, June 8, 2022, at First Baptist Church of Ellijay with the Rev. Scott Eaton officiating.

Interment will follow in the Colwell Baptist Church Cemetery in Blue Ridge.
