Mr. Hugh Kenneth Hills III, 39, of Ellijay, died Sunday, Feb. 14, 2021.
He was born Dec. 24, 1981, in Statesboro, to Hugh Kenneth Hills Jr. and Donna Flowers Hills.
He earned a bachelor’s degree in science, joined the Marine Corp in 1999 and was honorably discharged in 2009. He was of the Baptist faith.
He is survived by children, Hugh Kenneth Hills IV and Lindsey Rose Hills; father and mother, Hugh Kenneth Hills Jr. and Donna Flowers Hills; sisters, April Stevens and Margaret Moon; grandmothers, Anne Vaughan Hills and Janice Bentzley.
A memorial service was held at 2 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 27 2021, from the chapel of Bernhardt Funeral Home with the Rev. Scotty Davis officiating.
A private interment service was held at the Georgia National Cemetery with military honors by the United States Marine Corp.
