Mr. Howard Allen Grizzle, 77, of Ellijay, died Tuesday, Jan. 26, 2021.
He was born in Gilmer County May 11, 1943, to the late Wesley Grizzle and Leo Harriett Millwood Grizzle.
He was a member of Pleasant Valley Baptist Church and was a retired logger.
He is survived by sons, Larry Allen Grizzle, Ricky and Kim Grizzle, and Tony and Lisa Grizzle; daughters, Teressa Tyler and Dottie Grizzle; brothers, Wayne Grizzle and Terry Grizzle; sisters, Dorothy Pack and Glenda Sanford; pets, Tinky the pup and Ceasar the cat; nine grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 28, 2021, from the chapel of Bernhardt Funeral Home with the Rev. Billy Dotson and the Rev. Tommy Sanford officiating.
Interment was in the Pleasant Valley Baptist Church Cemetery.
Pallbearers were Andy Grizzle, Justin Grizzle and Charlie Brown.
