Herbert S. Waldman

Mr. Herbert S. Waldman, 90, of Acworth, died Friday, Aug. 6, 2021, at Northside Cherokee. He was born in Philadelphia, Pa., Feb. 23, 1931, to the late Samuel Waldman and Kate Chernow Waldman. He was a veteran, having served in the United States Air Force. Prior to his retirement, he was an attorney.

He is preceded in death by sister, Ethel Greenburg.

He is survived by wife, Chris Hice Waldman; daughters, Dr. Susan Albert and Debra Albert; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Evelyn Griffin, Ed and Carolyn Bruce, and Ewiel and Ruel Hice; two grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services were held at 3 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 8, 2021, from the chapel of Bernhardt Funeral Home with the Rev. Kenny Hagin and the Rev. Jody Hice officiating.
