Harry William Duttenhoffer

Mr. Harry William Duttenhoffer, 88, of Ellijay, died Saturday, Dec. 18, 2021.

He was born in Brooklyn, N.Y., Sept. 5, 1933, to the late Harry Duttenhoffer and Louise Hoffman Duttenhoffer.

He was a member of First Methodist Church of Ellijay, and proudly served in the U.S. Navy.

He is preceded in death by wife, Brenda Gail Duttenhoffer.

He is survived by daughter, Kim (Bruce) Cook, of Newnan; companion, Sharon Petty; sons, Robert Duttenhoffer, of Jonesboro, William Duttenhoffer, of McDonough, James Duttenhoffer, of Griffin and Glen Duttenhoffer, of Tennessee; daughter, Luann (Bruce) Sweeney, of McDonough; stepdaughter, Dena (Chris) Cook; and several grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

He was cremated, and no services are planned at this time.

Bernhardt Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
