Harold Mooney

Mr. Harold Mooney, 82, of Canton, died Tuesday, Jan. 19, 2021, at Northside Hospital Cherokee. 

He is preceded in death by wife,  Helen Mooney; parents,  Alfred and Zonie Mooney; brothers, Melvin Mooney, the Rev. Clyde Mooney, Hubert Mooney, Charles Mooney and Eugene Mooney; sisters,  Ruby Blanton and Geneva Perkins.

He is survived by daughter, Renita (Dan) Bryant; son, Raymond (Wanda) Mooney; granddaughters, Madison (Jonah)  Dupree and Josie Mooney; grandson, Dawson Mooney; sister, Ernestine Mooney; brother, Cecil Mooney; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services were held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 23, 2021, from the Chapel of South Canton Funeral Home with the Rev. Tony Green and the Rev. Billy Cantrell officiating. 

Interment was in McHelen Baptist Church Cemetery.
