Freddie Clarence Craig

Mr. Freddie Clarence Craig, 62, of Chatsworth, died Sunday, Oct. 2, 2022, at Hamilton Medical Center in Dalton.

He was born Aug. 14, 1960, in Gilmer County, to the late Lewis Craig and Grace Rice Craig. He worked for the city of Chatsworth and was of the Baptist faith.

He is preceded in death by wife, Paulette Craig; sisters, Verdie Craig and Christine Worley; and brothers, Sammy Craig and Ruel Craig.

He is survived by brother, Willie Craig, of Ellijay; and sisters, Katherine Sexton, Louise Young, Ruby Stover and Ruth Barrera, all of Ellijay, Betty Collins and Lillie Cantrell, both of Chatsworth.

Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 5, 2022, from the chapel of Bernhardt Funeral Home with the Rev. William Cruse officiating.

Interment was in Jarrett Cemetery.

Pallbearers were Tommy Stover, Charlie Sexton, Jeremy Underwood, Jessie Dean, Willie Craig and David Rogers.
