Mr. Eldridge Bruce Quarles, 78, of Ellijay, died Thursday, Aug. 5, 2021.
He was born Nov. 17, 1942, to the late Bruce and Mary Emiline Davis Quarles.
He was a member of Tails Creek Baptist Church and was a retired truck driver.
He is preceded in death by wife, Peggy Corbin Quarles.
He is survived by sons, Stacey Quarles, of Chatsworth, Ritchie Quarles and Debra Patterson, of Ellijay; grandchildren, Tia Quarles, Allison Quarles and Haley Quarles; great-grandchildren, Grace Quarles, Joyce Wright and Rylan Wright; sisters, Martha Ann and the Rev. Franklin Harper, Mary Alice and Harry McClure, all of Ellijay; brother, William David and Nancy Bliss Quarles, of Crossville, Tenn.
Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Monday, Aug. 9, 2021, at the Logan Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Sammy Adams, the Rev. Franklin Harper and the Rev. Brondy Davis officiating.
Music was by Wanda Davis and Harold Sanford.
Interment was in the Tails Creek Baptist Church Cemetery.
