Earlene Burgess McClure, 75, of the Tails Creek died Thursday, Feb. 4, 2021.
She was born Sept. 23, 1945, to the late Willard Dorsey and Reba Lee Quarles Burgess in Ellijay.
She was a member of Pleasant Gap Baptist Church and was retired from Thomas & Hall Pharmacy and Rite Aid Pharmacy. She enjoyed being outside and working in her flower garden.
She is survived by daughter and son-in-law, Tina D. and William Wright, of Ellijay; granddaughter, Monica Wright; sister, Carolyn Burgess Rose, of Ellijay; brother, J.L. Burgess, of Ellijay; nieces and nephew; and loving cat, Chase.
Funeral services were held at 3 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 7, 2021, in the Logan Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Billy Dotson officiating.
Music was by Christy H. Taylor and Tish and Travis Banks.
Interment was in the Tails Creek Baptist Church Cemetery.
