Claude E. Bell

Mr. Claude E. Bell, 83, of Ellijay, died, Friday, May 27, 2022, at the Advent Health of Gordon County.

He was born June 14, 1938, in Gordon County, to the late Bud and Eula Hensley Beal. He worked in construction. He was a member of Berean Baptist Church but currently was attending Springs of life in Chatsworth.

He is survived by wife, Maxine Bell; son, Tim Bell, of Talking Rock; daughter, Janet Pinette, of Ellijay; brother, Joe Wayne (Ann) Beal, of Ellijay; grandchildren, Justin Bell and Amber Mathis; great-grandchildren, Noah Bell and Pressley Bell.

Funeral services were held at 4 p.m. Sunday, May 29, 2022, from the chapel of Bernhardt Funeral Home with the Rev. Bobby Byers officiating.

Interment was in the Berean Baptist Church Cemetery.

Bernhardt Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
