Cecil H. ‘Jim’ Coleman Jr.

Mr Cecil H. “Jim” Coleman Jr., 93, of Ellijay, died Saturday, May 2, 2020.

He was born Feb. 16, 1926, in Clay County, Ala., to Cecil H. and Wilma Sparks Coleman. 

He was a veteran serving with the U.S. Navy in World War II, worked as a sales representative, a mechanic and was a member of Grace Baptist Church. 

He is preceded in death by wife, Kathleen “Katy” Coleman.

He is survived by children, Thomas L. Coleman, of Ellijay, James M. Coleman, of Ball Ground, Wendy A. Wade, of Texas, and Patricia and Jack Lowe, of Fayetteville; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Graveside services will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday, May 7, 2020, from the Yukon Cemetery with Pastor Jeff Walls officiating.
