Carlton L. Hughes

Mr. Carlton L. Hughes, 65, of Chatsworth, died Thursday, May 7, 2020.

He was born June 16, 1954, in Copperhill, Tenn., to the late Paul and Rosie Ray Hughes. He worked in the poultry industry and was a member of New Vision Tabernacle Church.

He is survived by children and spouse, Kimberly and Dale Peardon, Mistie Hughes, all of Chatsworth; brothers, Ernest Hughes, Ray Hughes, both of Jasper and Larry Hughes, of Ball Ground; sisters, Imogene Hughes, of Ellijay, Louise Beasley and Nancy Craig, both of Ellijay; seven grandchildren, Kristopher, Katie, Kyrah, Chandler, Peyton, Savannah and Sage; and nieces and nephews.

A memorial services is being planned and will announced at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, the family request donations be made to Bernhardt Funeral Home to help defray funeral expenses.
