Mr. Carl Lewis Clark, 96, of Ellijay, died Tuesday, April 27, 2021, at his residence.
He was born in Fannin County Oct. 5, 1924, to the late William Emory Clark and Della Garland Clark.
He was a veteran, having served in the U.S Army. He was retired from Lenox Square and was a farmer for over 40 years. He was a member of Harvest Missionary Church.
He is preceded in death by son, Wendell Clark; grandson, Jason Pierce; sons-in-law, Eddie Pierce and Tommy Baxter; and great-grandson, Jacob Searcy.
He is survived by wife, Earnesteen Reece Clark; daughters, Carolyn Pierce and Marty Baxter, both of Ellijay; sister, Wylene Mullinax; four grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and one great-great grandchild.
Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Thursday, April 29, 2021, from the chapel of Bernhardt Funeral Home with the Rev. Glen Arnold and the Rev. Pat Shelton officiating.
Interment was in the Yukon Cemetery.
Pallbearers were Eddie Mullinax, Keith Holloway, David Holloway, Chris Holloway, Scott Garland and Adam Deboard.
Bernhardt Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
