Brenda Lee Negrete

Ms. Brenda Lee Negrete, 57, of Ellijay died Sunday, Oct. 2, 2022, at her residence with loved ones by her side.

She was born Sept. 20, 1965, in Gilmer County, to the late John and Pearl Vick Bradford. She was a member of the Flat Creek Baptist Church.

She is preceded in death by brother, John Will Bradford; and sister, Cathy Hudgins.

She is survived by daughters and son-in-law, April and Bill McCarter, Cassie Defoor, Kimberly Andrade and Amanda Davis, all of Ellijay; half-sister, Maryann Bradford; grandchildren, Nolan Price, Nick Price, Neyland Collins, Lillie McCarter and Kane Defoor.

Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 6, 2022, from the chapel of Bernhardt Funeral Home with the Rev. Wallace Parks officiating.

Music was by Cathy Simmons Taylor.

Interment was in the Flat Creek Baptist Church Cemetery.

Pallbearers were Mark Simmons, Buddy Hudgins, Aiden McClure, Nolan Price, Dwayne Daves, Tim Hughes. Honorary pallbearers were Robby Elliott, Nick Price, Kane Defoor and Connor McClure.

Donations can be made by planting a tree in memory of Brenda.
