Anita Lea Sisson

Mrs. Anita Lea Sisson, 71, of Ellijay, died Sunday, Dec. 4, 2022, at Northside Cherokee Hospital.

She was born Jan. 28, 1951, in Four Oaks, N.C.

She loved to cook and bake cakes. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother.

She is preceded in death by daughters, Tammy Michelle Horton and LaRonda Lynn Carthridge.

She is survived by husband of 28 years, Danny Art Sisson; children, John Irwin Horton (Paula), Anna Marie Barbour; 16 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
