Andrea Anne Jasse Blanchard-Vera

Andrea Anne (Jasse) Blanchard-Vera, 77, of Ellijay died Tuesday, July 27, 2021.

She was born Nov. 15, 1943, in Everett, Mass., to the late Robert Louis and Marian Louise King Jasse.

She was a member of Good Samaritan Catholic Church in Ellijay. She graduated from Winchester High School in 1961 and received her associate’s degree in business administration at Burdett College.

She was a  hotel general manager/director for 40 years across the U.S. and Costa Rica. She worked as a general manager at Amicalola Falls State Park Lodge toward the end of her retirement.

She is preceded in death by sister, Joanne J. Austin; and brother, Robert F. Jasse.

She is survived by daughter, Deborah Anne Swinamer, of Ellijay; grandson, Austin C. Swinamer, of Ellijay; nieces, Lynde Barbara Austin, of Gallatin, Tenn., Julianne Austin, of Moriarty, N.M.; nephews, Robert Austin, of Kissimmee, Fla., and Charles Austin, of Howey in the Hills, Fla.; and several other nieces and nephews.

Memorial services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 18, at Covenant Community of Ellijay.
