Velvet Lindel Davis

Mrs. Velvet Lindel Davis, 60, of Ellijay, died Saturday, Nov. 12, 2022.

She was born May 6, 1962, in Gilmer County, to the late William Davis and Adelle Pittman Davis. She loved her family very much.

She is survived by daughter, Amanda Ann Watkins; sons, Benji Harold Sanford and Jimmy Lee Sanford; brother, Danny Davis; sister, Verdamae Davis; 11 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; special niece, Stephanie Henderson; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Monday, Nov. 14, 2022, from the chapel of Bernhardt Funeral Home with the Rev. Pat Shelton officiating.

Interment was in the Cross Roads Baptist Church Cemetery.

Pallbearers were Benji Sanford, Carter Sanford, Jimmy Lee Sanford, Austin Parks, Josh Watkins, Shawn Parks and Danny Davis.

Bernhardt Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
