The Gilmer County School System will hold its end-of-the-year celebrations beginning next week.
Elementary and middle school students will have the opportunity to gather their belongings and meet with classmates and teachers.
Ellijay Elementary School will be open to students Monday, July 6 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Clear Creek Elementary students in pre-K through fifth grade may come by the school Wednesday, July 8 from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. Kindergarten students may come by Tuesday, July 14 at 5:30 p.m. and 6:30 p.m., according to the district website.
Mountain View Elementary will be open Wednesday, July 8. Kindergartners may come by the school at 10 a.m., and students in grades first through fourth are permitted to come by from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. The campus is open to fifth grade students at 2 p.m.
Clear Creek Middle will hold its end-of-the-year celebration Thursday, July 9. Reserved times include 10 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. for sixth graders, 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. for seventh graders and 1 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. for eighth graders.
The Gilmer High School prom will be Friday, July 10 at the Gilmer County Agricultural Education Center beginning at 8 p.m. Graduation will be the following Friday, July 17 at 8 p.m. at Huff-Mosley Memorial Stadium.
