An earthquake has shaken homes and people’s nerves across north Georgia. It was strongly felt in Ellijay around 9:15 this morning.
Gilmer County Emergency Management reported that a 4.1 magnitude quake happened near Greenback, Tenn., and was felt in Georgia, as well as some parts of South Carolina.
EMA is investigating its severity. No injuries or major damage have been reported so far.
