The Gilmer Chamber is now inviting the general public to join its monthly board meetings held online via the Zoom teleconferencing app.
“(We) are formally opening board meetings to the public for comment and hearing. A moderator will be present to run the Zoom meetings and bring those wishing to speak to the board at the beginning of each month’s meeting,” confirmed Caitlin Neal, the chamber’s communications manager.
The board meetings are typically held the first Thursday of each month unless otherwise noted, Neal said. The next one is scheduled for Thursday, April 1, at 8 a.m.
Neal said anyone wishing to watch or offer comments at the April 1 Zoom meeting can log on by using the following information:
