Local Authors Forum will highlight her achievements
Often, the best story ideas come from real life.
Gilmer author Jo Loveday got her thriller ideas from her time working as a nurse and the deep knowledge of people this career gave her.
Loveday is originally from Canada.
Her works, including “Campus of Shadows” and “Terminal Lucidity,” are made to “keep you up way past your bedtime, with just enough romance to make things interesting,” she said.
She will be talking about her books at the Local Authors Forum, hosted by Friends of the Gilmer Library.
The event will take place Saturday, April 25, from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. in the Gilmer County Library’s Community Room. The library’s address is 268 Calvin Jackson Dr.
In her writing, Loveday is all about themes of integrity, morality and psychological processes.
“I hope my storytelling will open your heart and mind for a long time after you’ve turned the last page,” she said.
