Three more people, including a 15 year-old, have been charged in connection with the death of a Pickens County woman.
Madison Alina Grace Perez, 19, of Ellijay, was charged with felony murder. Elizabeth “Rylie” Sue Henson, 17, of Ball Ground, was charged with felony robbery. Aspen Leigh Cagle, 15, of Ball Ground, was charged with felony murder and felony robbery.
They join four Ellijay men charged with felony murder.
“These charges stem from this entire group conspiring to commit and committing a series of armed robberies between Ellijay and Jasper,” said Gilmer County Sheriff Stacy Nicholson. “Unfortunately, Mallory Warden was killed during one of these planned robberies.”
At 10:50 p.m., Sept. 18, deputies and EMS responded to a 911 call of a person being shot. They found Warden, 19, of Jasper, in a vehicle on South Main Street, Ellijay, near the old Kiker’s Supply, with a gunshot wound.
Warden was taken to the hospital where she later died.
“There were four girls in the vehicle,” Nicholson said. “She was not the driver. I have to assume they were headed to the hospital.”
Talona Road was the site of the shooting. Nicholson said the vehicle the women were in became disabled on South Main. One of the women in the vehicle called 911.
All the occupants of the vehicle were from Jasper, he said.
Gray Anthony McClure, 21, Robert Gabriel Shoilekov, 17, Davonnte Lavon Brehon, 18, and Anthony Jared Inestruza Whisnant, 19, all of Ellijay, were charged with felony murder in the death of Warden.
“We intend to charge everyone involved in this case, whether they were physically there or merely helped plan to send a message that if you help someone commit a crime in any way, you will go to jail,” said Nicholson. “This investigation is not over, and we still expect more arrests.”
