A Talking Rock resident returned home from errands to find money and possibly drugs in his mailbox.
A Gilmer County deputy responded to a non-emergency call Sept. 14, at 11:47 a.m., according to an incident report.
The resident said he had returned from town and checked his mailbox and discovered a black plastic convenience store bag. Inside was $180 in cash, a $100 bill and four $20 bills, and a baggie containing a white crystallized substance, according to the report.
