This jazzy instrumental music welcomes all
The Kool Breeze Band featuring Jim Richter has already delighted millions of online listeners worldwide. This weekend, it’s featuring in Ellijay.
“I don’t think it’s superficial music,” Richter said. “It certainly makes people feel good.
The group will perform at 7 p.m. Aug. 30, at the Gilmer Arts Play-house located at 135 North Dal-ton Street in Ellijay.
Tickets cost $33, and there are a limited number left.
The band’s style mixes jazz and rock, played by high-quality musicians.
Five of the band’s seven current members have studied music in college.
“This band has more degrees than a thermometer,” Richter said.
Kool Breeze Band writes music worth paying close attention to. Even if it’s relaxing and instru-mental, it’s made to be per-formed in concert, Richter said.
“This is pleasant music,” Richter said. “And if you have a chance to listen, I think you’ll under-stand.”
