Sign up soon to get advice on how to stop hogs
A free feral hog control workshop offers advice on how to deal with one of Georgia’s most frustrating pests.
The Limestone Valley Soil and Water Conservation District will offer expert advice on feral hogs to those who sign up by Monday, Oct. 13 at gacd.us/events.
The event will take place 5:30 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 22 at the Gilmer County Ag Center, located on 385 Clear Creek School Road in Ellijay.
It will feature experts from the University of Georgia, the Department of Natural Resources and the Georgia Department of Agriculture.
It will also include a trapping demonstration.
Free barbecue will be provided.
